Few rules to avoid the fines

pay attention to the mentioned things so you don't incur extra costs!

RETURN THE BIKE TO AN OFFICIAL STATION

Your ride experience with Nextbike is coming to an end and you want to finish the ride but your are not sure where you are allowed to park?

Open the Nextbike app and find the nearest and most convenient official parking location to end a ride and park your bike. Remember, you must park the bike only at the official station or you are risking paying s a fine for wrong parking. The fine covers the cost of returning the bike and placing it on an official stations where other users can find it.

Bike parked outside the station will be displayed as a white pin in the map

Important thing to remember - your ride will be finished only after the you push the lever on the bike lock down. You will hear a locking sound an get the notification in your app your ride has finished.

Word of advice: Please check all the available parking locations in your Nextbike app before starting the ride. This way you can plan your trip and enjoy your ride stress free.

RIDING TWO PERSONS ON ONE BICYCLE

By driving like this, you damage the bike and endanger the safety of yourself as a driver and other people and all other users who will rent a bike after you because it is not suitable for riding. Each user has the option of renting two bikes on their own account to avoid unnecessary damage - please use this option to ride in pairs!

VANDALISM

Deliberate damage to bicycles means they are removed from circulation to the detriment of all other users who need them for transportation. The bike then needs some time to be repaired and it is unavailable at the stations for your and other people's new rides. If you notice any damage to the bike or the destruction of the bike by another person, please let us know via the nextbike mobile app Support, via email or call center.
